We provide and install advanced heliport surfacing systems. Our surfacing systems are versatile during the installation process helping to streamline the entire project together. The HB-ELITE surfacing system utilizes automated heat trace technology for snow-melting in cold weather regions. This guarantees clear/visible heliport markings at all times. It also ensures a safe landing and sure footing while utilizing the heliport.
The HB-ELITE and HB-PRO heliport surfacing system is 2" thick. The first layer installed is a mixed on-site combination of SBR rubber and flexible poly-urethane. This process creates a 1 1/2 inch seamless shock-absorbing layer. The second layer is a mixed on-site combination of 100% colored E.P.D.M. rubber and flexible polyurethane. This layer is 1/2" thick and using hand trowels we are able to create the heliport marking, logo and/or design. During installation we have the ability to transition the rubber surfacing to entry ways or exits.
